A plain-English primer
Three things the floor walks first-timers through.
- 01 · Onset
- Flower and vapes onset within minutes. Edibles onset in 30 to 90 minutes. Concentrates match flower onset but hit harder.
- 02 · Duration
- Inhaled products (flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates) last 1 to 3 hours. Edibles last 4 to 8 hours. Topicals stay local to the skin and never hit the bloodstream.
- 03 · Format
- If you want control over dose, reach for flower. If you want discreet, vapes and edibles win. If you want precision, gummies at known mg. If you want relief without high, topicals and CBD.

Product questions
The differences that actually matter.
Formats, dosing, testing, and how to pick between flower and concentrate without getting in over your head.
- 01
What cannabis products does Luxury Leaf carry?
Ten categories: flower, pre-rolls, edibles, THC gummies, vape cartridges, concentrates, live resin, rosin, topicals, and CBD.
Every product is sourced from a Missouri-licensed cultivator or manufacturer, lab-tested batch-by-batch, and Metrc-tracked seed to sale.
- 02
What is the difference between flower and concentrates?
Flower is the dried bud of the cannabis plant. Concentrates are extracts made from that flower, typically much higher in THC.
Flower typically tests 18 to 30% THC. Live resin, rosin, and distillates can test 70 to 90%+. Concentrates need a vaporizer or dab rig. They are not for new consumers.
- 03
How do edibles dose differently from flower?
Edibles pass through the liver and produce a stronger, longer-lasting effect. Start at 2.5 to 5 mg and wait 90 minutes before taking more.
Flower effects are easier to feel coming on and adjust in real time. Edibles take longer to onset, so over-dosing by double-taking is the most common new-consumer mistake.
- 04
Can I get CBD products without THC?
Yes. We carry a dedicated CBD shelf with products that contain little to no THC, useful for daytime function or for customers new to cannabis.
