We cannot accept it. Missouri DCR rules require an unexpired government-issued photo ID with no exceptions. Missouri DMV offers same-day ID replacement at many branches. A U.S. passport is also an accepted alternative.

Can I bring my kids or a friend under 21 inside?

No one under 21 is admitted to the dispensary, including children and teens. This is state rule, not a house preference. A family member or friend under 21 is welcome to wait in the car or at a cafe nearby (Rise Coffee is two blocks over).

Do you accept out-of-state IDs?

Yes. Any unexpired U.S. government-issued photo ID is accepted, including out-of-state driver's licenses and U.S. passports.

Why is ID checked at the register if it was already checked at the door?

Missouri DCR rules require verification at both the point of entry and the point of sale. Two independent checkpoints make it effectively impossible for an unverified purchase to occur. The point-of-sale scan also logs the transaction to Metrc so the state has an audit trail.

What happens if a driver arrives and the customer is not home?

The order is returned to the store and we reschedule. We cannot leave cannabis on a porch, with a neighbor, or at a building's front desk.

21+ is not a policy. It is the statute.

Missouri Amendment 3 legalized adult-use cannabis in November 2022 for adults 21 and older. Selling cannabis to a minor is a criminal offense, and Missouri DCR rules require dispensaries to verify age at every stage of a transaction.

Luxury Leaf verifies ID on entry to the boutique, again at the point of sale, and at the door for every delivery. Three checkpoints. No exceptions.

What Qualifies

Unexpired, government-issued, photo.

Acceptable IDs: U.S. driver's license, U.S. state ID card, U.S. passport, and U.S. military ID. Out-of-state driver's licenses are accepted.

Expired IDs are never accepted, even by one day. Photocopies do not qualify. Digital IDs on your phone do not qualify. A medical card does not substitute for a photo ID. You need both to shop the medical menu.

At the Door (Delivery)

The name on the order signs for it.

For deliveries, the ID of the person signing must match the name on the order. No porch leaves. No drop-offs with a neighbor. No second-party pickups.

If the customer on the order is not home when the driver arrives, the driver returns the product to the store and we reschedule. This is not a Luxury Leaf preference. This is Missouri DCR rule.

Who Is Welcome

Everyone 21+. No one under.

No one under 21 is admitted to the dispensary, including in groups, with guardians, or in strollers. This rule is not discretionary. We do not make exceptions for family members, friends, or designated drivers who are under age.

Service animals are welcome. Adults who are hesitant, first-timers, or not sure what they need, doubly welcome. The floor team lives for that conversation.
