What a licence number actually tells you

State facility numbers carry a prefix that names the licence type. Dispensaries begin with DIS. Cultivators begin with CUL, manufacturers with MAN, and testing facilities with TES. A store selling to the public should be showing you a DIS number.

Ours is DIS000060. You can put that into the state's licensed facilities register and see our address returned. Any dispensary that cannot give you a number that resolves the same way is not a licensed dispensary, whatever the sign outside says.

How crowded this market actually is

Nineteen licensed stores inside a six-mile radius is a dense market by any measure, and it is worth understanding what that means for you as a customer rather than for us as a business.

It means prices stay competitive without anyone advertising that they are. It means that if a store is unpleasant, you have eighteen alternatives. It also means the differences between stores are narrower than any marketing suggests, because most of them buy from the same Missouri cultivators.

The nearest licensed dispensary to us is three tenths of a mile away. We are not going to pretend that is a moat.

The nineteen, in alphabetical order

Sorted by name, not by preference. Distances are straight-line miles from our door, computed from the coordinates the register itself publishes. Where the register lists several trade names for one licence, the first is shown. Every address is in the city unless the row names another municipality.

Where we sit in that field

We hold DIS000060 at 1463 S Vandeventer Ave in the Grove. We are open 7 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday and 8 AM to 7 PM on Sunday, which is the earliest weekday opening among the stores closest to us.

We carry flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, concentrates, topicals, CBD and accessories from 119 Missouri cultivators and manufacturers, and we run our own delivery seven days a week from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Luxury Leaf is Missouri's first Black and woman owned cannabis boutique. That is a fact about the business rather than a reason to shop here, and we would rather state it plainly than build a campaign around it.

Reading the register yourself

Open the state page, search by name or by city, and check three things: that the number starts with DIS, that the address matches where you are actually going, and that the entry exists at all.

The register is also the only place where the geography is exact. Every entry carries coordinates, which is how we can say the distances on this site are measured rather than estimated. They are straight-line distances, not drive times, and we label them that way because a straight line and a drive down Kingshighway are different things.

What this page will not do

It will not rank the nineteen. The list above is alphabetical for that reason. We are one of those stores, so any ranking we published would be marketing wearing a lab coat, and you should distrust it on sight.

What we will tell you is what we stock today, which is on the live menu, and where we deliver, which is on the delivery page. For everything else, the register is public and the other eighteen stores can speak for themselves. Bring a valid ID showing you are 21 or over, wherever you end up going.
