Chippewa Street runs its own schedule

The stretch of Chippewa around 5501 is residential in a way downtown corridors aren't. Traffic peaks with the school run and again in the early evening, and the store's rhythm follows the street it sits on.

Their doors open at 9 AM Monday through Wednesday and close at 8 PM, then run to 9 PM Thursday through Saturday, and 9 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. That's a shape built for afternoon and evening shopping.

Ours is built differently. We open at 7 AM six days a week and close at 10 PM, which suits a customer whose day starts before the school run and sometimes ends after it should.

Two hours that only matter to some people

Add those schedules up and the practical difference is at the edges. Before 9 AM on any day, we're open and they aren't. Between 8 and 10 PM early in the week, the same. On a Sunday evening after 7 PM, neither of us is open, and that's worth knowing before you drive anywhere.

Most people don't shop at the edges. If you don't, this whole section is noise and you should pick on the shelf instead.

The shelf question, answered honestly

3Fifteen Primo carries a 4.8 rating across 2,186 Google reviews as of the 1 September scan, which is one of the larger review counts among the stores near us and a fair signal of consistency.

Our roster is flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, concentrates, topicals, CBD and accessories from 119 Missouri cultivators and manufacturers. Where we spend real effort is on the extract side: live resin, rosin and the solventless end of the case, where the difference between a good run and a mediocre one is obvious in the jar.

If you're shopping concentrates specifically, that's the honest reason to make the drive north. If you're shopping flower and price, both stores will serve you and the menus will settle it faster than we can.

What actually separates two good stores

At this point in the Missouri market, most licensed dispensaries carry overlapping product from the same cultivators. The genuine differences come down to three things: who is behind the counter, what the buyer chooses to go deep on, and whether the store is open when you need it.

We can only speak to our own answers on those. Ours is a single room with a crew that stays, a buyer who favours small-batch extract, and the earliest opening time among the stores nearest to us.

Before you drive either way
